The Boeing 747 is a modern passenger airliner.
The Boeing 747, often referred to by the nickname "Jumbo Jet", is among the world's most recognizable aircraft, and was the first wide-body commercial airliner ever produced. Manufactured by Boeing's Commercial Airplane unit in the US, the original version of the 747 was two and a half times the size of the Boeing 707, one of the common large commercial aircraft of the 1960s. First flown commercially in 1970, it held the passenger capacity record for 37 years, until it was surpassed by the Airbus A380.
The four-engine 747 uses a double deck configuration for part of its length. It is available in passenger, freighter and other versions. The 747's hump created by the upper deck allows for a front cargo door on freighter versions, and serves as additional seating in most versions. The 747-400, the latest version in service, is among the fastest airliners in service with a high-subsonic cruise speed of Mach 0.85 (567 mph or 913 km/h). It has an intercontinental range of 7,260 nautical miles (8,350 mi or 13,450 km). The 747-400 passenger version can accommodate 416 passengers in a typical three-class layout or 524 passengers in a typical two-class layout.
The 747 was expected to become obsolete after 400 were sold because of the development of supersonic airliners, but it exceeded its critics' expectations with production passing the 1,000 mark in 1993. As of June 2008, 1,405 aircraft had been built, with 118 more in various configurations remaining on order. The latest version of the aircraft, the 747-8, is scheduled to enter service in 2009.

A rocket or rocket vehicle is a
missile,
aircraft or other
vehicle which obtains
thrust by the
reaction of the rocket to the ejection of fast moving
fluid from a
rocket engine. Chemical rockets work by the action of hot gas produced by the combustion of the
propellant against the inside of
combustion chambers and
expansion nozzles. This generates forces that accelerate the gas to
extremely high speed and exert a large thrust on the rocket (since
every action has an equal and opposite reaction).
The history of rockets goes back to at least the
13th century.
[1] By the
20th century, they have enabled human
spaceflight to the Moon. In the
21st century, they have made commercial
space tourism possible.
Rockets are used for
fireworks and weaponry, as
launch vehicles for
artificial satellites,
human spaceflight and
exploration of other planets. While inefficient for low speed use, they are, compared to other propulsion systems, very lightweight and powerful, capable of attaining
extremely high speeds with reasonable efficiency.
Chemical rockets store a large amount of energy in an easily-released form, and can be very dangerous. However, careful design, testing, construction, and use minimize the risks.

Aeroplane has become a very important transport for us and it allow us to travel to a very far place.
A fixed-wing aircraft is a heavier-than-air craft whose
lift is generated not by wing motion relative to the aircraft, but by forward motion through the air. The term is used to distinguish from
rotary-wing aircraft or
ornithopters, where the movement of the wing surfaces relative to the
aircraft generates lift. In the US and Canada, the term airplane is used, though around the rest of the English speaking world, including
Ireland and
Commonwealth nations the spelling aeroplane is more common. These terms refer to any fixed wing aircraft powered by
propellers or
jet engines. The word derives from the Greek αέρας (aéras-) ("air") and
-plane.
[1] The spelling "aeroplane" is the older of the two, dating back to the mid-late 19th century.
[2] Fixed-wing aircraft may be manned or not; they may be large or tiny; every fixed-wing aircraft is open to being scale modeled by perhaps a smaller or larger mimic fixed wing aircraft. Many fixed-wing aircraft may be
remotely controlled or robot controlled.
